There are several important steps to follow when submitting artwork electronically to McGRAPHIXINC

●  Adobe Illustrator vCS2 (.AI), (.EPS)
●  Corel Draw v12.0 (.CDR)
Bitmap Images files for Four Color Process Productions
●  Adobe Photoshop vCS2 (.PDF, .TIF)

Color Platforms:

●  Spot color printing requires the Pantone palette be used in vector based files.
100% Black within the CMYK should always be used for this color.  Any pixilated
images must be submitted at 100% black.  Pixilated files can only be printed
    as one color artwork.

●  Process color printing requires submitted art files to be provided at 300 dpi.
Depending upon the product substrate, ideal color choices are best within the
10% and 90% range on the CMYK scale.
McGRAPHIXINC manages all film
separation output for all of our productions.

PC Platform:

The art department at uses PC Windows based systems

Font Information:

Insure that all fonts are converted to paths, curves or outlines
(please refer to the software documentation for instructions).

File Information:

Include all placed images imported or placed with the artwork.  This includes scanned images and art created on other software (.TIF, .EPS or .PCX images).

Bitmap Images:

A WORD ABOUT BITMAP IMAGES (PLACED OR NOT)
McGRAPHIXINC can accept bitmap images.  If the artwork is created in a bitmap program, each additive spot pantone color must be layered separately and each image generated to size.  Layering features must be maintained in the submitted file (Do not flatten).  If bitmap images must be enlarged, they will become jagged.  Therefore, pixilated images need to be submitted at 100% scale or scanned at a resolution to accommodate the necessary production size.

Colors:

When assigning a color to art or text, please use Pantone® colors
(refer to the software documentation for instructions on using the Pantone® color palette).  This will work for process or spot colors.
